(Ry~), RLK-Associates i~ pleased to present <br />this submittal package requesting an amenqment to the Centre Pointe Business Park <br />Planned Unit Development (PUD) 1177 in order to 'accommpdate a'development <br />proposal by Veritas Software Company. Veritas is currently 'experiencing strong <br />economic health and needs to ~xpand their pre~ent RoseVille operatio~. Instead of <br />relocating to another site in what would most likely be an outer suburban tierconimunity;' <br />Veritas wants to stay-in Roseville and expand within their Centre Business ~oint <br />Business Park location. " ' <br /> <br />To meet growing market demands, Veritas is proposing to build another three office <br />towers, totaling 253,500 square feet along the southeq1section of the Centre Point ' <br />Business Park. The proposed office use varies to ,a degree from the originally intended <br />office-showroom use for the project site's parcel. These changesinc1udethe location, <br />height and s~ of buildings, a,11 of Which are pennitted under the existing PUD ' , <br />regulations. We are requesting a PUD amendment topemlit these minor changes. <br /> <br />. . . , <br /> <br />The following narrative describes the Verltas proposal in more detail and should address <br />any issues you may have. , ' ' <br /> <br />PROJECT mSTORY AND LOCATION, <br /> <br />, " :I <br /> <br />The Centre Pointe Business ParkPUD BUsiness Zone No~ 1177 was approved by the City <br />Council in April pf 1997 and pennits a inix of office park uses: office,' office-warehouse, , <br />office"'-showroom manufacturing spaces, 2 hotels and 1 restaurant. The inteni()fthe - <br />Business Park was to penmt a range of office and office related Uses ill a park-like <br />setting. Furthermore, the intent was to maintain at least 50% of each building as office, <br />uses except for the permitted restaurant and two hotels. In total, The' PUD permitted <br />619 ,600-sq. footage of new buildings over the en~lre site.
