II 1 <br /> <br />. ~ ,;- -,-} -I~ : <br /> <br />May 21,1997 <br /> <br />Rick Jopke <br />Assistant Community Development Director <br />City of Roseville <br />2660 Civic Drive <br />Roseville, MN 55113 <br /> <br />RE: CENTER POINTE BUSINESS PARK <br />ROSEVILLE, MN <br /> <br />Dear Mr. Jopke: <br /> <br />1 am writing to outline our architecture design intent for the above referenced projecL The project <br />description along with the enclosed information shall provide you with a written pictorial of the quality <br />of architecture proposed for Centre Pointe Business Park. <br /> <br />Centre Pointe Business Park is designed to meet the office space needs for technology and service <br />related businesses in the Twin cities metro area. <br /> <br />Exterior building finishes shall be of materials to complement the existing office buildings on the site. <br />Additionally we will use compatible materials as described in the P.D.D. #1177 agreement to higWight <br />the overall texture of the brick facade. Windows will be tinted glass with butt joints or narrow <br />mullions (see enclosed plan and perspectives) <br /> <br />All accessory structures, if any, will match the proposed masonry finishes of the office buildings. <br /> <br />Rooftop mechanical units will be screened from line of sight. Line of sight studies will be completed <br />and submitted to the City of Roseville for record of compliance. Ground surface mechanical or utility <br />equipment shall be screened from line of sight by landscape material or screen walls. <br /> <br />External loading, trash or service areas shall be totally screened from residential and adjacent area <br />views except at driveway access points. Whenever possible, trash and service areas will be contained <br />(within the building perimeter) or the main floor. <br /> <br />Road, driveway and parking lot lighting shall be concealed downcast type fixtures on 30' high poles to <br />match existing conditions. Building entrances and ground signs shall be ground lit with controlled <br />beam ground lights. Truck dock areas and rear entrances to buildings shall be lit by wall mounted <br />concealed downcast type fixtures.
