<br />SELECTION CRITERIA FOR PROPOSALS <br />IN ALL CATEGORIES <br />(Except Category E, Planning/Predevelopment Proposals) <br /> <br />100 possible points <br /> <br />Funded. projects must score a minimum of 70 points on the selection <br />criteria to be funded and to be eligible for supplemental funding to <br />support transit use. <br /> <br />A. Extent To Which the Proposal Represents a Model of <br />Integrated Land Use <br />0-50 points <br /> <br />0-20 points <br /> <br />Development pattern: <br /> <br />Mixed-Use Development, Categories A and B: The degree to which a <br />proposal provides a connected development pattern with a mix of uses <br />that creates a multipurpose destination (for living, working, daily <br />needs, recreation), and provides short, direct routes that enable <br />people to walk easily and safely to transit, if available, and other <br />destinations. <br /> <br />Mixed Residential development, Category C: The degree to which <br />housing is physically and economically integrated, rather than <br />separated into discrete areas of different housing types and costs; <br />and provides for pedestrian access and circulation, and common <br />spaces. <br /> <br />Cluster Housing, Category D: The degree to which housing is <br />physically integrated and provides for pedestrian access and <br />circulation, and access for residents to open space. <br /> <br />0-20 points <br /> <br />Integration with adjacent areas, mass and scale: <br /> <br />Mixed-Use Development, Categories A and B: The degree to which <br />the development is physically integrated with and compatible with <br /> <br />19 <br />
