<br />1.6 The City Attorney has prepared the necessary ordinance amendment to Chapter <br />1016.26 of the City Code (see attachment) consistent with the original resolution. <br /> <br />2.0 COMMENT <br /> <br />In reviewing this request, staff made the following findings prior to the first reading: <br /> <br />2.1 The requested changes are technical in nature and do not alter current goals and <br />policies. The amendment to Section 1016.26 as proposed is consistent with the <br />Comprehensive Plan, Section 8 - Environmental Protection. <br /> <br />2.2 The proposal clarifies city procedure when reviewing new proposals and provides <br />direction regarding remedial and maintenance work in the surface water <br />management system. <br /> <br />3.0 ST AFF RECOMMENDATION <br /> <br />3.1 Based on the findings outlined in Section 3 staff recommended approval of the <br />provision that the City amend its surface water management code language within <br />Section 10 16.26relating to surface water management. <br /> <br />4.0 PLANNING COMMISION ACTION <br /> <br />4.1 On April 12, 2000, the Roseville Planning Commission held the required public <br />hearing and recommended (7-0) approval of the proposed ordinance as recommended <br />within the Comprehensive Plan (with typographic corrections). <br /> <br />5.0 SUGGESTED COUNCIL ACTION <br /> <br />5.1 Hold the second reading. <br /> <br />5.2 By motion, approve the proposed ordinance amending Section 1016.26 of the <br />City Code relating to Surface Water Management. <br /> <br />Attachments: <br />Application Schedule: <br />Prepared by: <br /> <br />Draft Ordinance <br />None. <br />Dennis Welsch (490-2232) <br /> <br />\ \ Victoria \CommDev\Planning Files\3174_Comp Plan 99\RCA (03_27 _OO).doc <br /> <br />PF3l74 - RCA (04_24_00) Page 2 of2 <br />
