<br />EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF A MEETING <br />OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE <br />CITY OF ROSEVILLE1 <br />RAMSEY COUNTY1 MINNESOTA <br /> <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the Planning Commission of the City <br />of Roseville, County of Ramsey, Minnesota, was duly held in the City Hall at 2660 Civic Center <br />Drive, Roseville, Minnesota, on Wednesday, January 12, 2000 at 6:30p,m. <br /> <br />The following members were present: <br />The following members were absent <br /> <br />Member <br /> <br />introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO, <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE ANNUAL AMENDMENT <br />AND REVISION TO THE 1999 ROSEVILLE COMPREHENSIVE PLAN <br />REVISING THE TEXT AND LAND USE MAP DESIGNATIONS <br />OF THE EXISTING PLAN ORIGINALLY ADOPTED IN 1994, AS AMENDED <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to the Metropolitan Land Planning Acts of 1976 and 1996 the <br />City of Roseville is required to prepare a city comprehensive plan, and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Roseville, in 1979 adopted a plan entitled "City of Roseville <br />Comprehensive Guide Plan", which was reviewed and approved by the Metropolitan council, <br />and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council established a comprehensive plan review and has assisted <br />by further authorizing a citizen survey (1990 and 1998) and community Visioning Process <br />(1992), entitled VISTA 2000, with over 100 citizen volunteers, and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, in addition to project amendments, since the 1994 adoption the Planning <br />Commission annually has held public hearings to update the Plan, and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission and City Council have invited comment and <br />published legal notice to affected communities and property owners within 350 feet ofland <br />use map change, with a public hearing held at the time of the requested amendment and an <br />additional public hearing held on January 12, 2000, and <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, the Planning Commission of the City of <br />Roseville hereby recommends approval and adoption of the 1999 amendments (and <br />appendices and adoptions by reference) to the City of Roseville Comprehensive Guide Plan, <br />subject to review and comments of the plan by the Metropolitan Council, <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was seconded by Member <br />and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: <br /> <br />WHEREUPON said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted. <br /> <br />Q:\Planning Files\3174_Comp Plan 99\Resolution PCA O1l200,doc <br />
