Six <br />residents signed in for that meeting. The results of the visioning exercise are shown in Table 2. <br />The greatest concerns were over traffic and pedestrian safety. Residents were also concerned <br />about trash being picked up too early in the morning and light pollution. Many also noted that <br />development conditions are often put in place to mitigate a development's negative impacts but <br />that those conditions frequently are not followed or enforced. Another area of concern was over <br />the future use of vacant buildings, particularly the Knights of Columbus building. <br /> <br />It should also be noted that residents of the Crossroads Neighborhood indicated that they <br />experienced many more negative impacts from the shopping center in the past but that those <br />impacts were greatly mitigated after a fence was constructed between the center and the <br />neighborhood. In particular, it reduced the amount of through pedestrian traffic and associated <br />nuisances and crimes.
