~ 1 MEMORANDUM Community Development August 28, 1998 TO: All Departments FROM: David Windle SUBJECT: Charges for Digital Data and Map Products Maps: The City is not charging the public for any labor costs involved in creating these maps or the data required to produce them. Instead, we are only charging for the basic materials recovery costs. (See below for prices to charge) Please direct inquiries to the Community Development Department. Digital Data: Data which has been created by the City or by a vendor on behalf of the City can be made available to the public. If a vendor is to use the data on behalf of the City, they will not be charged for the use of the data but must sign a Third-Party Non Disclosure Form (contact David Windle). In the case where a member of the public requests parcel data created by Ramsey County, they must be directed to the County for that information.
