<br />, , <br /> <br /> <br />April 20, 2000 <br /> <br />Dear Roseville Resident: <br /> <br />On Thursday, April 13, 2000: the Development Review Committee (DRC) held a hearing to <br />review and consider Timothy & Corrine Poor's request to encroach into the required five-foot <br />side yard setback a distance of two feet. The purpose of the request is to replace the existing <br />single stall garage with a 24 foot by 26 foot detached garage, . ' . <br /> <br />During the ,consideration of this Setback Permit, the DRC suggested the Setback Permit be, <br />modified to allow the driveway to be located two' feet fr'om the sideyard property line. <br />Concem,ed that the current nine-fqot wide'driveway was too narrow and'could present <br />. difficulties in backing-up vehicles; the DRC felt an additional foot of driveway'area could afford <br />greater vehicle maneuverability. ' ' <br /> <br />, . <br />The Community DevelopmentDiiector has approved the followiI).g Setback Permits: <br /> <br />)0> Approval of the requested Setback Permit to allow an encroachment oftwoJe~t into the <br />required five:-foot side yard (east) setback This encroachment will afford the <br />applicant/property owner use of two feet of side yard area (three foot side yard setback) <br />to facilitate the constructi<;m of a 24 foot by 26 foot detached garage, subject to gutters. . <br /> <br />> . Approval of a Setback Permit to allow a driveway. expansion or reconstruction to be <br />located two feet from the side yard property line. ' ' <br /> <br />Please note that there is a 10 day t!me lin~ during which adjacent property owners can appeai <br />the Community Development Director~s decision to approve your request.
