<br /> <br />June 14, 2000 <br /> <br /> <br />Mr. Travis Palmquist <br />Lake Ridge Executive Director <br />2727 Victoria Street North <br />Roseville, MN 55113 <br /> <br />RE: Excavation Permit and Planting/Fence Design <br /> <br />Dear Mr. Palmquist: <br /> <br />The Roseville City Council, at their meeting of June 12, 2000, approved your parking lot <br />expansion excavation permit, as submitted for permits on June 12,2000, and authorized <br />the issuance of an excavation permit subject to the following conditions: <br /> <br />1) The two mature cottonwood trees on the west side of the property will not <br />be removed; <br />2) Cedar fence will complete property lines of property owners (property <br />adjacent to Lake Ridge property only); <br />3) Noise buffers will be constructed around the roofmounted cooling and <br />heating machines; <br />4) Lake Ridge is to work with each individual affected property owner to <br />transplant appropriate vegetation along the borders; <br />5) Lake Ridge will construct an eight (8) foot fence, vs a six (6) foot fence, <br />subject to review of the Planning Commission andfinal consideration of <br />the City Council; <br />6) Lake Ridge to keep open communications throughout the construction <br />process with a commitment to a final product that will meet the needs of <br />Lake Ridge as well as the best interest of adjacent property owners; <br />7) Lake Ridge will construct a 30 foot (within 5') retaining wall next to Afr. <br />Tessmer's property line to allow for approximately 300 square feet of <br />current vegetation to remain between the Tessmer home and Lake Ridge; <br />'8) Lake Ridge will work with Mr. Tessmer upon completion ofthis'porlion of <br />the project to fill insignificant gaps in the natural border with two <br />additional spruce trees; <br />9) Lake Ridge will preserve the cedar tree located in the northeastern corner <br />of the Tessmer property and will preserve the spruce tree located in the <br />northwestern corner of the Tessmer property; <br />JO) All spruce trees are to be a minimum of8feet in height withfour tofive <br />additional spruce trees planted adjacent to the Houle property. <br /> <br />2660 Civic Center Drive -> Roseville -> Minnesota -> 55113 <br />651-490-2200 -> TDD 651-490-2207 <br />
