Quad.- Roseville Future Reconstruction/Upgrading of the Intersection LETTER OF INTENT Dear Mr. Paschke: We appreciate that the City of Roseville has been receptive to the needs of Mn/DOT with regards to the acquisition of City property. The proposed construction of the new Mn/DOT Traffic Management Center adjacent to the Waters Edge Building makes it necessary to expand our parking facilities. In addition to acquiring property from the City of Roseville, we need to expand westerly into Mn/DOT right-of-way lying easterly of the ramp to northbound Snelling Ave. The attached "Exhibit A" shows the area to be acquired from the City of Roseville in green. The area of existing Mn/DOT right-of-way to be used for expanded parking facilities is shown in yellow. It is this area shown in yellow that is of concern the City. The main purpose of this letter is indicate that Mn/DOT would allow the area shown in yellow on attached "Exhibit A" to be used for highway purposes in the event that future upgrading of the subject intersection should become necessary. This means that the planned parking area at this site would be subject to removal if a reconstruction project in the future should warrant this action. Please be assured that Mn/DOT is committed to providing for the transportation needs of the traveling public in the City of Roseville and throughout the State of Minnesota.
