Analyses were made for the two intersec-
tions considered critica: to the movement of traffic:

1) The entrance of the Waters Edge site with County Road B-2 where the
new voiumes wit I be concentrated.

2) The signalized intersection of County Road B-2, the Rosedale
Shopping Center, and the ramps with Snel ling Avenue where the P.M.
peak hour traffic movement could have the "worst" impact.

County Road B-2 at Site Entrance

The roadway capacity of County Road B-2 at the entrance to the site is
2,300 vehicles per hour, or 1,150 vehicles in each direction. The existing
capacity being used based on the 1980 traffic counts is 28% of the west-
bound capacity and 49% of the eastbound capacity in The P.M. peak hour.
The addition of new traffic generated from the proposed develcpment would
raise the used capacity to 29-57% east of the entrance and 44-60% west of
the entrance. The roadway capacity used by each alternative is summarized
in Table 5.

12
