<br />parking, and amenities packages within each unit. <br /> <br />h) Building design standards should be used which contribute to <br />neighborhood openness, communication, and interaction. <br /> <br />i) Design and performance standards should provide adequate height <br />and setback combinations for situations where taller multi-family <br />units are proposed as infill projects adjacent to single family areas. <br />Such infill should be limited to medium density (or lower) projects. <br /> <br />9. (Not related to topic) <br /> <br />10. Require fair housing practices. Disperse types and scale of housing units <br />within the City for all ages, in all stages of the life cycle. Discourage high <br />concentrations of low and modest cost housing in any portion or <br />neighborhood. <br /> <br />a) Provide quality, low density rental and owner-occupied residential <br />units, particularly one level. <br /> <br />b) Create affordable and/or subsidized congregate rental units for <br />seniors and others with special needs. <br /> <br />c) Consider senior housing in areas with nearby amenities such as <br />shopping, medical, community and church facilities, and volunteer <br />programs. <br /> <br />11. Provide an appropriate amount of low and moderate cost housing and <br />opportunities for rehabilitation of the existing housing supply through: <br /> <br />a) the use of Federal, State, local, and other financial resources; and <br /> <br />b) working with State agencies and Metropolitan Council and Ramsey <br />County HRA. <br /> <br />12. Encourage year-round landscaping of public and private space, <br />including planned development of boulevards and medians. Review the <br />development and landscaping plans for parks and municipal facilities. <br /> <br />13.
