t <""'
~.~

"

To Whom It May Concern:

I
"

I am applying for a setback permit because building a new garage five feet from the side and rear
property line would put the garage to close the the house and possibly causing drainage problems. Also
being that close to the house would make it inaccessible to two vehicles witch is one of the main reasons
for building a new one. In addition to the access and drainage problems the existing garage is structurally
unsound and is ready to collapse, plus it is about three inches below the grade of the high point in the
driveway so its collects much water in the spring.

r

The impact on the neighborhood would be extremely positive. I have already taken the liberty of
having my surrounding neighbor's sign a form indicating that they would have no complaints about me
putting up a new garage. As I mentioned before the existing garage is in vel)' bad shape but one of the
most prominent exterior features is that the previous homeowner resided only the south and east side of the
garage with paneling and left the other two sides facing the neighbors with the old asphalt shingle siding so
those neighbors would love to see a new one since it is kind of a eyesore.

.. .
