<br />Dl~ <br />.I.~ <br />Community Development Department <br />651.490.2279. fax: 651.490.2931 <br /> <br /> <br />August 15, 2000 <br /> <br />Mr. Reynold Mueller <br />987 West County Road B <br />Roseville, Minnesota 55113 <br /> <br />RE: Setback Permitfor a two- foot encroachment into side yard, PF 3249. <br /> <br />Dear Mr. Mueller.: <br /> <br />This letter is to confirm that on August 10, 2000, the Roseville Development Review Committee <br />_ (ORC) held a hearing regarding your request to allow the construction of a 26 foot by 30 foot <br />(7.80 square foot) detached garage at 987 West County Road B. The specifics of your request <br />required the DRC to consider a two-foot encroachment into the required five-foot side yard <br />setback. <br /> <br />The DRC recommended approval of your request to construct the 780 square foot detached at <br />987 West county Road B, three feet from the side yard property line, subject to the following <br />conditions: <br /> <br />A. Submittal of drainage plan indication direction of storm water run-off, prior to the <br />issuance of a building permit. <br /> <br />B. Roof gutters being added to the garage to facilitate storm water management. <br /> <br />C. The detached garage being limited to a maximum side yard setback of three feet from <br />property line. <br /> <br />D. Prior to building permit issuance, property corner pins must be located or a survey <br />provided validating the required setbacks from the east property line. <br /> <br />I have reviewed the DRC recommendations and approve your setback permit request with the <br />stipulated conditions. The City has received notice from the adjacent property owners and their <br />desire not to appeal our decision.
