<br /> <br />August 15, 2000 <br /> <br />Ms. Ann Kranz <br />2959 Mildred Avenue <br />Roseville, Minnesota 55113 <br /> <br />RE: Setback Permit for six-foot encroachment into front yard, PF 3250. <br /> <br />Dear Ms. Kranz: <br /> <br />This letter is to confinn that on August 10, 2000, the Roseville Development Review Committee <br />(DRC) held a hearing regarding your request to allow the construction of a front porch on the <br />house located at 2959 Mildred Avenue. The specifics of your request required the DRC to <br />consider a six-foot encroachment into the required 30-foot front yard setback. <br /> <br />The DRC recommended approval of your request to construct the porch on to the front of the <br />home at 2959 Mildred A venue 24 feet from the front yard property line, subject to the following <br />conditions: <br /> <br />A. The front porch being limited to a maximum front yard setback of24 feet from <br />property line. <br /> <br />B. Prior fo building pennit issuance, property comer pins must be located or a survey <br />provided validating the required setbacks from the east property line. <br /> <br />I have reviewed the DRC recommendations and approve your setback pennit request with the <br />stipulated conditions. However, you will not be able to obtain a building pennit until the <br />completion of the mandatory 10-day appeal period, which concludes at 4:30 p.m. on Monday, <br />August 21, 2000. <br /> <br />Please contact Doug Strong with the Roseville Engineering Department at 651.490.2236 for assistance in <br />location your property comer pins. . <br /> <br />. I have also included infonnation regarding the Roseville Housing Resource Center. The <br />affiliation of the City of Roseville has a number of programs to assist in construction matters, as <br />well as financing. Both of these programs may assist you with your anticipated porch and home <br />addition.
