The City of Roseville deserves better than for you all to squabble among yourselves and
leave no one but the children to suffer. It is like the squabbling of adults over school
district funding and no one but the children suffer when the funding does not come
through. Please consider apologizing to each other for your past impertinence's over this
issue and get on with doing meaningful work. Please consider taking training in SDIC
(Systematic Development of Informed Consent). It will show you how to create
productive win-win solutions.

I strongly suggest that you make some recompense to the citizens of Roseville by
directing the Community Development Director to immediately begin a search for the
bingo parlor. I should also think that the Director of Parks and Recreation deserves an
apology. After all the adulation and praise over the Grand Award highlighting a number
of athletic activities supported by charitable gambling proceeds, you vote at the same
council meeting to put the operation out of business for the time being!

I hope that we one day have the opportunity to interface again in a more functional way
towards a more fruitful outcome. I will watch for your prompt response to my over
procedure.

Respectfull y,

~~

Beth Nixon
Concerned Citizen

c: Mr. Dennis Welch, Community Development Director

2
