Included in your packet is an e-mail <br />from Jackie Schroeder regarding pathways and sidewalks and snow plowing. A letter was <br />sent acknowledging receipt as her preferred method of contact. <br />Approval of Minutes of the August 5, 2014Meeting <br />3. <br />Enclosed is a copy of the minutes of August 5, 2014.Please be prepared to approve or <br />amend. <br />Requested Commission Action <br />:Approve/amend meetingminutesof August 5, 2014. <br />Approval of Minutes of the September 10, 2014Meeting <br />4. <br />Enclosed is a copy of the minutes of September 10,2014. Please be prepared to approve <br />or amend. <br />Requested Commission Action <br />: Approve/amend meetingminutesof September 10, <br />2014. <br />Discuss Preliminary Park Building Operations <br />5. <br />As the replacement park buildings arewell under construction, staff is in the process of <br />defining operational policies and procedures. As they are being established, it is important <br />to consider consistency with other city facilities. In your packet is a preliminary outline that <br />continues to be developed and will be reviewed at your meeting. Please review and be <br />prepared to offer input and advice. <br />Requested Commission Action <br />:Review and provide input and advice. <br />Prepare for Joint Meeting with the City Council <br />6. <br />At your joint meeting with the city council inJune(minutes included),it was suggested and <br />agreed that the commission have more regular contact(quarterly)with the city council. <br />Time has been placed on the city council Agenda for Monday, November 17, 2014 for this <br />to occur. This is an opportunity for the commission to provide updates, discuss specific <br />topics of interestsandseek guidance. <br />Some topics of future interest may include the deer population, communty center(included <br />in your packet is a community center section from the master plan), volunteers, Evergreen <br />Park and the Historical Society use, golf course operations, Emerald Ash Borer or other <br />topics of interest to the commission, city council and community. <br />Requested Commission Action <br />: Review and discuss topics and approach for joint <br />meeting. <br /> <br />
