<br />- . <br /> <br />.' <br /> <br />(t) <br /> <br />(> <br /> <br />October 2,2000 <br /> <br />Mr, Ted Brausen <br />Croix Oil Company <br />2151 Dale Street North <br />Roseville, Minnesota 55113 <br /> <br />Re: Request for a Conditional Use Permit to allow car wash addition and request <br />for Variances <br /> <br />Dear Mr. Brausen: <br /> <br />The purpose of this letter is to confirm that the Roseville City Council, at its meeting of <br />September 25,2000, approved your application for a Conditional Use Permit to allow <br />construction of a car wash addition on to the existing Spur gas station at 2151 Dale Street <br />North, Further, the Council approved a variance from Section 1005,09C, Section <br />1005,01D6B and Section 1005,09E of the Roseville City Code. <br /> <br />The Council approval actions, by adoption of Resolution 9814 and Resolution 9815 <br />(copies of which are attached for your file), were as follows: <br /> <br />Goedeke moved, Mastel seconded, by resolution, to approve granting A) A conditional <br />use permit to allow construction of a 2000 square foot car wash with storage and <br />enclosed trash container area based on the findings in Section 3 of the project report and <br />with conditions 4.2 through 4.9 of the project report (see conditions page 2 and 3 of <br />Resolution #9814) dated September 25, 2000. <br /> <br />Goedeke moved, Mastel seconded, by resolution, to approve granting the following items: <br />B) A variance for the proposed exit drive lane being located three feet into the required <br />five foot side yard (west) setback; C) A variance for the pre-existing non-conforming <br />parking area being located seven feet into the required 15 foot parking lot setback from a <br />street right-of-way (Section 2005,01 D6B) or from the permanent highway and utility <br />easement which ever is most current; and, D) A variance for the pre-existing non- <br />conforming driveway along County Road B being located closer than 50 feet from the <br />intersecting street right-of-way lines (Section 1005.09). <br /> <br />Wiski moved, Kysylyczyn seconded, to reconsider the first motion. <br /> <br />Wiski moved, Maschka seconded, to add "based on findings in Section 3.0 of the staff <br />report" to the first motion. <br /> <br />Wiski moved to approve "B", "C" and "D" based on the findings outlined in Section 3,0 <br />of the staffreport. <br /> <br />Further, the Council requested that you extend landscaping and screen walls adjacent to <br />the car wash entry and exit. <br />
