<br /> <br />December 20, 2000 <br /> <br />Mr. Joseph Richter <br />Minnesota Department of Natural Resources <br />Metro Waters <br />1200 Warner Road <br />Saint Paul, MN 55106-6793 <br /> <br />RE: Proposed home and attached garage addition at 699 Heinel Circle. <br /> <br />Dear Joseph: <br /> <br />The City of Roseville has received an application from a Mr. Peter Vesterholt, 699 Heinel Circle for a <br />variance to the front and side yard setback requirements of the Roseville City Code. The Community <br />Development Department has been working with Mr. Vesterholt on his proposal to construct an <br />addition onto his attached garage that would come within five feet of the side yard setback and seven <br />feet from the front yard setback. <br /> <br />I have reviewed the proposal and do not find or conclude any need to receive a variance from the <br />shoreland ordinance. As with any request, the City ofRoseville looks to the DNR for assistance with <br />shoreland matters. In the case of this application, it is requested that the DNR review the proposal and <br />detennine whether or not a shoreland variance( s) is necessary . We are also interested in any comments <br />that the DNR has regarding the proposal. <br /> <br />Please review the proposal and provide me with comments at your earliest convenience. I look forward <br />to your letter and thank you for your attention to this matter.
