Call to Order <br />1 <br />Chair John Gisselquist called to order the regular meeting of the Planning Commission meeting at <br />2 <br />approximately 6:30 p.m. and reviewed the role and purpose of the Planning Commission. <br />3 <br />2. Roll Call & Introduction <br />4 <br />At the request of Chair Gisselquist, City Planner Thomas Paschke called the Roll. <br />5 <br />Members Present: <br /> Chair John Gisselquist; and Commissioners Michael Boguszewski; David <br />6 <br />Stellmach; Shannon Cunningham; Mohamed Keynan; and Robert <br />7 <br />Murphy <br />8 <br />Members Excused: <br />Commissioner James Daire <br />9 <br />Staff Present: <br /> City Planner Thomas Paschke and Associate Planner Bryan Lloyd <br />10 <br />3. Review of Minutes <br />11 <br />November 6, 2013 Regular Meeting Minutes <br />12 <br />MOTION <br />13 <br />Member Murphy moved, seconded by Member Boguszewski to approve the November 6, <br />14 <br />2013 meeting minutes as amended; <br />incorporating the suggested typographical corrections <br />15 <br />provided by Member Daire to staff prior to the meeting. <br />16 <br />Ayes: 6 <br />17 <br />Nays: 0 <br />18 <br />Motion carried. <br />19 <br />4. Public Hearing <br />25 <br />Chair Gisselquist reviewed the protocol for Public Hearings and subsequent process. <br />26 <br />PLANNING FILE 11-024 <br />27 <br />Request by City of Roseville for approval of VACATION of a remnant right-of-way <br />28 <br />easement at 2305 Walnut Street <br />29 <br />Chair Gisselquist opened the Public Hearing for Planning File 12-024 at approximately 6:35 p.m. <br />30 <br />Associate Planner Bryan Lloyd summarized the request as detailed in Section 4 of the staff report <br />31 <br />dated December 4, 2013; for proposed vacation of a small area of a right-of-way easement that <br />32 <br />remains after iterative platting and vacating of surrounding property at 2305 Walnut Street, at <br />33 <br />Terminal Road and County Road B-2, known as the Meritex property. <br />34 <br />Chair Gisselquist closed the Public Hearing at 6:38 p.m.; with no one appearing for or against. <br />35 <br />MOTION <br />36 <br />Member Stellmach moved, seconded by Member Cunningham to recommend to the City <br />37 <br />Council APPROVAL of remnant right-of-way easement at 2305 Walnut Street; based on the <br />38 <br />comments and findings of Sections 4 – 6 and the recommendation of Section 7 of the staff <br />39 <br />report dated December 4, 2013. <br />40 <br />Ayes: 6 <br />41 <br />Nays: 0 <br />42 <br />Motion carried. <br />43 <br />City Council action on this item is scheduled for Monday, December 9, 2013. <br />44 <br /> <br />
