Variance Board Meeting <br />Minutes – Wednesday, November 05, 2008 <br />Page 3 <br />Staff recommended APPROVAL of the requested six foot (6’) VARIANCE to the required <br />97 <br />front setback established in City Code, Section 1004.015 (Residential Setbacks) to allow <br />98 <br />the proposed covered front entry at 1768 Shorewood Curve; based on comments and <br />99 <br />findings outlined in Section 5, and conditions detailed in Section 6 of the project report <br />100 <br />dated November 05, 2008. <br />101 <br />Staff confirmed that they had received no comments from neighboring property owners. <br />102 <br />Applicant, Steven Anderson 1768 Shorewood Curve <br />103 <br />The Anderson family was present; however, had no comments beyond staff’s <br />104 <br />presentation. <br />105 <br />Chair Boerigter closed the Public Hearing, with no one appearing for or against. <br />106 <br />MOTION <br />107 <br />Member Doherty moved, seconded by Member Boerigter to APPROVE Variance <br />108 <br />Board Resolution No. 85 entitled, “A Resolution APPROVING a VARIANCE to <br />109 <br />Roseville City Code, Section 1004 (Residence Districts) for Steven and Michelle <br />110 <br />Anderson, 1768 Shorewood Curve (PF08-043);” to allow construction of a covered <br />111 <br />wheelchair ramp at the front entrance, and encroaching into the required front <br />112 <br />property line setback; based on the comments and findings outlined in Section 5 <br />113 <br />and the conditions detailed in Section 6 of the project report dated November 05, <br />114 <br />2008. <br /> <br />115 <br />Ayes: 2 <br />116 <br />Nays: 0 <br />117 <br />Motion carried. <br />118 <br />Chair Boerigter reviewed the appeal process. <br />119 <br />5. Adjournment <br />120 <br />Chair Boerigter adjourned the meeting at approximately 5:53 p.m. <br />121 <br />
