<br />3.0 ST AFF COMMENTS <br /> <br />In reviewing this request, staff made the following findings: <br /> <br />3.1 The Roseville Engineering Department has reviewed the requested vacation of a 13,363 <br />square foot portion of the south side of County Road B-2 adjacent to 1500 County Road <br />B-2 and has determined that the portion being requested for vacation is unnecessary for <br />road right-of-way purposes and could be vacated. <br /> <br />3.2 The Engineering Department has determined that there are no public easements necessary <br />to support the street right-of-way vacation. <br /> <br />3.3 The City will record the vacation upon approval of the City Council. <br /> <br />4.0 ST AFF RECOMMENDATION <br /> <br />4.1 Based on the findings outlined in Section 3.1 through 3.3 of this report, staff recommends <br />approval of the request for vacation of a portion of County Road B-2 with the attached <br />legal description and map for property located at 1500 County Road B-2. <br /> <br />5.0 SUGGESTED PLANNING COMMISSION ACTION <br /> <br />5.1 By motion, recommend approval of the request for vacation of a portion of County Road <br />B-2 adjacent to 1500 County Road B-2, with the attached legal description and map and <br />based on the findings outlined in Section 3.1 - 3.3 ofthis report. <br /> <br />5.2 The Planning Commission's recommendation will be forwarded to the City Council for <br />final action on February 26,2001. <br /> <br />This request will be forwarded to the Roseville City Council for action on February 26, 2001. <br /> <br />Prepared by: Thomas Paschke (490-2236) <br /> <br />Attachments: Property location map; aerial photo; right-of-way vacation map and legal description. <br />60-day Time Limit: Application accepted on January 8, 2001; Deadline for Action March 9,2001. <br /> <br />PF3285 - RPCA (021401) - Page 2 of2 <br />
