<br />We, the undersigned Roseville residents and homeowners, hereby petition the City of
<br />Roseville NQL to approve the Cave and Associate's request for a Comprehensive Land
<br />Use Plan Amendment trom Business (B) to High Density Residential (HR.) and rezoning
<br />from B-2, Retail Business District, to R-3A, Multi-Family Residence District, to allow the
<br />construction of an 18 unit apartment complex at 197 County Road B-2 - for the following ,
<br />reasons:
<br />
<br />Primarily - The adjacent pond and wet land area is at risk. There is a considerable
<br />amount of wild life contained in the pond area - ie; Ducks, Geese, Muskrat, Owls, Hawks,
<br />Raccoon, Possum, Pheasants, Herons, and an occasional Deer -- and habitat is at a
<br />minimum already.
<br />
<br />Secondarily - The loss of a considerable amount of young and mature trees will raise
<br />havoc with the various species of birds that nest and live in the area.
<br />
<br />In addition to the above, the scenic beauty of the existing pond area that is enjoyed by
<br />many surrounding homeowners will be drastically changed with the addition of more
<br />bricks, mortar and blacktop parking lots.
