EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Roseville, County of Ramsey, Minnesota, was held on the 26th day of June 2001, at 6:30 p.m. The following members were present: and the following were absent: introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: Council Member RESOLUTION NO. A RESOLUTION APPROVING A CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT FOR QWEST WIRELESS ALLOWING THE INSTALLATION OF TELECOMMUNICATION ANTENNA AND ASSOCIATED EQUIPMENT AT 2335 DALE STREET (PF3305). WHEREAS, Qwest Wireless has requested approval of a conditional sue permit to allow the installation of a 60 foot tall monopole and accompanying equipment cabinets at 2335 Dale Street; and WHEREAS, the property located at 2335 Dale Street is legally described as: NEED PROPER LEGAL DESCRIPTION WHEREAS, Section 1012.lOAl of the Roseville Zoning Ordinance states: City-owned or controlled antennas and tower sites shall be a permitted use in "B" Business or "I" Industrial Districts and conditional uses in all other districts; and WHEREAS, Section 1013 of the City Code stipulates criteria for approving conditional use permits requiring the City to consider: ~ Compatibility with adjoining properties. ~ Impacts on traffic and public facilities. ~ Impacts on property value. ~ Impacts on general health, safety, and public welfare. ~ Compatibility with the Roseville Comprehensive Plan. ~ The process also allows the City to impose those conditions it considers necessary to protect the public health, safety, and welfare. WHEREAS, the parcel is zoned "R-l", Single Family Residence District, is located in Comprehensive Land Use Plan Planning District 7, with a land use designation of"C", Civic; and 1
