<br />1 Member Mulder asked that the Commission request the staff to review the <br />2 accessory buildings and coverage for possible text changes. <br />3 <br />4 Motion: Member Mulder moved, second by Member Wilke, to recommend <br />5 approval of a rezoning from R-2, Two Family Residence District to Multi-Family <br />6 Residence District, Three to Twenty-Four Unit (R-3A), subject to conditions for <br />7 property located at 2108 Haddington Road. <br />8 <br />9 Ayes: Rhody, Olson, Cunningham, Mulder, Wilke <br />10 Nays: None <br />11 Motion carried 5-0. <br />12 <br />13 Motion: Member Mulder moved, second by Member Rhody, to recommend <br />14 approval of an approximate nine foot variance, or as determined by survey, from <br />15 Section 1004.04D5 of the Roseville City Code for the property located at 2108 <br />16 Haddington Road, subject to conditions in Section 6 of the project report and <br />17 subject to a land survey. <br />18 <br />19 Ayes: Rhody, Olson, Cunningham, Mulder, Wilke <br />20 Nays: None <br />21 Motion carried 5-0. <br />22 <br />23 6(b) Planning File 3302:Ramsey County request for an Interim Use Permit to <br />24 allow continued use of their site at Kent and Larpenteur as a household hazardous <br />25 waste drop-off site. <br />26 <br />27 Chair Rhody opened the hearing and requested City Planner Thomas Paschke to <br />28 provide a verbal summary of the staff report dated May 9, 2001. <br />29 <br />30 Ramsey County provided household hazardous waste (HHW) since 1992 on the <br />31 site. In 1996 the County received a five-year permit. He explained the site <br />32 layout, adjoining uses and the traffic circulation. <br />33 <br />34 The hours of operation were described. The interim use permit would be for five <br />35 years with annual staff review. Staff recommended approval. No spills or <br />36 contamination have occurred. <br />37 <br />38 Member Wilke said he admired the professionalism of the workers on the site. <br />39 <br />40 Joe Wozniak, Coordinator of the HHW site, noted there is no facility, just a <br />41 collection site for one or two times per year. Bay West has been the contractor on <br />42 the site. The Roseville site may be used for a month or more per year. <br />43 <br />44 There was no public comment.
