<br />5.0 PLANNING COMMISSION ACTION <br /> <br />5.2 At their meeting of June 12,2001, the Planning Commission held the public hearing <br />regarding the two variances being requested by William Olson. No citizens addressed <br />the Commission regarding the Olson request and the Planning Commission only <br />requested clarification of the property line location and the Shoreview City Limits from <br />staff and the property owner. The Commission recommended (6-0) approval of the both <br />of the variances requested by Mr. Olson, based on the findings in section 3 of the project <br />report dated June 12,2001. <br /> <br />6.0 SUGGESTED CITY COUNCIL ACTION <br /> <br />Adopt a resolution to approve (approve w/modifications or deny) the request of <br />William Olson, 3188 West Owasso Boulevard, for a 19 foot variance to Section <br />703.04Bla of the Roseville City Code to allow an increase in the required driveway <br />apron within a public right-of-way from 26 feet to 45 feet, and a five foot variance to <br />Section 703.04B9 of the Roseville City Code to allow a driveway to exist on the property <br />line, and encroach into the required five foot side yard setback. <br /> <br />Prepared by: Thomas Paschke (490-2236) <br /> <br />Attachments: Property location map; site photo; site plan. <br />60-day Time Limit: Not Applicable - City Initiated Request. <br /> <br />PF3309 RCA (062601) Page 3 of3 <br />
