Housing Mix and Economic Integration 0-10 points Area 1 (Minneapolis, St. Paul, first-ring suburbs), Area 2 (Developing urban cities), and Area 3 (rural growth centers): 5 points Housing proposals that include three or more different housing types or tenure combinations - attached, detached, different physical configurations of attached or detached, ownership, rental. 3 points Housing proposals that include two different housing types, or a combination of ownership and rental housing types. o points Proposals that include only one housing type. Area 1 (Minneapolis, St. Paul, first-ring suburbs) Area 2 (developing urban cities), and Area 3 (rural growth centers): In this category, priority will be given to proposals that serve the lowest income households or the greatest mix of households at up to 50 percent of median income for rental housing and up to 80 percent of median income for ownership housing. 5 points A mix of new housing opportunities within the proposed project area, including 20 percent of units at prices or rents affordable to families at up to 50 percent of median income for rental housing and up to 80 percent of median income for ownership housing.
