<br />. <br /> <br />\r1omG-2 <br />~ <br /> <br />Extract Of Minutes Of Meeting Of The <br />City Council Of The City Of Roseville <br /> <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City <br />of Roseville, County of Ramsey, Minnesota, was duly called held at the City Hall on Monday, the <br />27th day of August, 2001, at 6:30 P.M. <br /> <br />The following members were present: Klausing, Mastel, Goedeke, Maschka, Kysylyczyn <br />and the following were absent: None <br /> <br />Council Member Mastel introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br /> <br />Resolution No_ 9927 <br /> <br />A Resolution Denying a Conditional Use Permit for <br />Roselawn Cemetery for the Construction of a Crematory Facility on Property Located at <br />803 Larpenteur Avenue (PF3315) <br /> <br />WHEREAS, an application was submitted by Roselawn Cemetery for consideration of a <br />Conditional Use Permit to allow the construction of a I, 800 square foot crematory facility; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the application is for property located at 803 Larpenteur Avenue, legally <br />described as: <br />A portion of the Southwest Quarter of the Southeast Quarter and the Northwest Quarter <br />of the Southeast Quarter of Section 14, Township 29, Range 23, Ramsey County Minnesota, (PID <br /># 142923430001) <br /> <br />and; <br /> <br />WHEREAS, after due notice the Roseville Planning Commission held a public hearing <br />regarding the conditional use permit application in accordance with state law and city ordinance <br />on, at which time oral and written testimony was presented by the applicant, its agents, residents, <br />and other interested persons, and; <br /> <br />WHEREAS, at the conclusion of the public hearing the planning commission voted to <br />recommend that the City Council approve the conditional use permit, and; <br /> <br />WHEREAS the City Council at its regular council meeting on July 23rdh received the <br />Planning Commission's recommendation, further written and oral testimony from the applicant <br />and other interested persons, and; <br /> <br />WHEREAS the City Council continued the matter to its August 13th regular council <br />meeting to allow for the submission of additional information from interested persons, and upon <br />consideration of the application and supporting materials, the staff report, and all other <br />information constituting the record of this application, and upon further deliberation, the Council <br />voted 4-1 to deny the conditional use permit and directed the City Attorney to prepare findings <br />and this resolution as a contemporaneous record of the Council's decision, <br /> <br />'0"- <br />/f <br />4;{ <br />
