<br />Christopher Hafner, is a licensed practitioner of Traditional Chinese Medicine <br />and is the Director of Cloud River Clinic of Traditional Chinese Medicine in <br />Minneapolis. He has been in practice for 25 years, and acts as a consultant on <br />complementary medicine to the University of Minnesota, Fairview and Mayo <br />Clinic Systems and other hospitals and health organizations nationwide. As an <br />instructor in complementary medicine, Christopher has 15 years of teaching <br />experience and speaks frequently at seminars both locally and nationally. <br /> <br />Debra Anderson received her Ph.D. in psychology from Iowa State University. <br />She is an associate professor of psychology at St. Olaf College, and senior <br />research associate of aging and developmental disability and health at the <br />Institute of Community Integration at the University of Minnesota. She has an <br />interest in the research done on the mechanisms of acupuncture, and on the <br />research methodology of complementary medicine. <br /> <br />Julie Andrist received her BA in foreign language/English from Mei-Ou <br />Christian College in Taiwan and her Master degree of education in curriculum <br />and classroom instruction from Ashland University. since 1993, Julie has been <br />working as an international student officer, English and Chinese language <br />teacher and translator, academic supervisor. <br /> <br />Simona Tolarova received her BS in biology and her MD from Charles <br />University, Prague, Czechoslovakia. She is a postdoctoral associate and <br />research associate at the School of Medicine, University of Minnesota. Dr. <br />Tolarova has published many articles on the basic theory of medicine and on <br />clinical medicine. <br /> <br />Xianfeng Wang is a graduate of the Shandong University of Traditional <br />Chinese Medicine, has a Master degree in Chinese medicine from the Shandong <br />University of Traditional Chinese Medicine, has been a physician in the <br />Department of TCM Internal Medicine at the affiliated hospital of Shandong <br />University of Traditional Chinese Medicine, and a researcher at the Shandong <br />Chinese Medicine Research Center. He is a Diplomate of Acupuncture from the <br />NCCAOM. <br /> <br />Charlotte Gallagher is a graduate of South Dakota State University with a <br />Bachelor of Science degree in nursing, and a graduate of the Minnesota Institute <br />of Acupuncture and Herbal Studies. She is board certified by the American <br />Nurses Association in Psychiatric and Mental Health Nursing. She established <br />Health Options Acupuncture Clinic in Mankato, and has a special interest in the <br />areas of mental health and women's health issues.
