Christopher Hafner, is a licensed practitioner of Traditional Chinese Medicine and is the Director of Cloud River Clinic of Traditional Chinese Medicine in Minneapolis. He has been in practice for 25 years, and acts as a consultant on complementary medicine to the University of Minnesota, Fairview and Mayo Clinic Systems and other hospitals and health organizations nationwide. As an instructor in complementary medicine, Christopher has 15 years of teaching experience and speaks frequently at seminars both locally and nationally. Debra Anderson received her Ph.D. in psychology from Iowa State University. She is an associate professor of psychology at St. Olaf College, and senior research associate of aging and developmental disability and health at the Institute of Community Integration at the University of Minnesota. She has an interest in the research done on the mechanisms of acupuncture, and on the research methodology of complementary medicine. Julie Andrist received her BA in foreign language/English from Mei-Ou Christian College in Taiwan and her Master degree of education in curriculum and classroom instruction from Ashland University. since 1993, Julie has been working as an international student officer, English and Chinese language teacher and translator, academic supervisor. Simona Tolarova received her BS in biology and her MD from Charles University, Prague, Czechoslovakia. She is a postdoctoral associate and research associate at the School of Medicine, University of Minnesota. Dr. Tolarova has published many articles on the basic theory of medicine and on clinical medicine. Xianfeng Wang is a graduate of the Shandong University of Traditional Chinese Medicine, has a Master degree in Chinese medicine from the Shandong University of Traditional Chinese Medicine, has been a physician in the Department of TCM Internal Medicine at the affiliated hospital of Shandong University of Traditional Chinese Medicine, and a researcher at the Shandong Chinese Medicine Research Center. He is a Diplomate of Acupuncture from the NCCAOM. Charlotte Gallagher is a graduate of South Dakota State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in nursing, and a graduate of the Minnesota Institute of Acupuncture and Herbal Studies. She is board certified by the American Nurses Association in Psychiatric and Mental Health Nursing. She established Health Options Acupuncture Clinic in Mankato, and has a special interest in the areas of mental health and women's health issues. She is a Diplomate of 59
