<br />~ t~ <br /> <br /> <br />July 24, 2001 <br /> <br />Gregg and Amy Peterson <br />222 North McCarrons Boulevard <br />RosevilIe, Minnesota 55 I 13 <br /> <br />RE: Requestfor a Variance (PF3321) <br /> <br />Dear Gregg and Amy: <br /> <br />The purpose of this letter is to confirm that the Roseville City Council, at their meeting of July <br />23,2001, approved your request for a variance from Section 1012.02B2 of the Roseville City <br />Code, to increase the front yard fence height to six feet at 222 North McCarrons Boulevard. <br /> <br />The Council adopted a Resolution, which the City will file with Ramsey County, with approval <br />of the following motion: <br /> <br />Adopt a resolution to approve the request by Gregg and Amy Peterson for a 2-foot fence <br />height variance from Section 1012.02A2 of the RosevilIe City Code for property located <br />at 222 North McCarrons Boulevard, based on the findings located in Section 3 and <br />subject to the conditions listed in Section 4 of the project report dated 7/23/01, as follows: <br /> <br />A. The wood fence must be set back a minimum of three feet from the front property <br />line. <br /> <br />B. The applicant must work with City Staff to incorporate additional landscaping <br />(trees, shrubs, and perennials) adjacent McCarrons Boulevard to break-up long <br />expanses of fence and augment the existing landscaping. <br /> <br />C. The applicant must work with City Staff to determine whether the fence must be <br />constructed at an angle to provide better view of North McCarrons Boulevard <br />when backing out of both garages. <br /> <br />D. The fence must be constructed of cedar or redwood, or stained an earth tone color <br />to accent the stone and wood material installed as a component of the recent <br />North McCarrons Boulevard reconstruction project. <br /> <br />2660 Civic Center Drive .:.
