<br />EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING <br />OF THE <br />CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE <br /> <br />* * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * <br /> <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting ofthe City Council of the City <br />ofRoseville, County of Ramsey, Minnesota was duly held on the 17th day of June, 2002, <br />at 5:30 p.m. <br /> <br />The following members were present: Kough, Klausing, Schroeder, Maschka and <br />Kysylyczyn, and the following were absent: none. <br /> <br />Member Schroeder introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION 10009 <br />Support for the Roseville Library <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Roseville and its residents benefit from and appreciate the <br />services and resources provided by the Ramsey County Library; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, approximately 22,919 Roseville residents are current Ramsey County <br />Library cardholders and even more Roseville residents benefit from the <br />Library's many programs and activities; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, without sufficient resources, the Ramsey County Library may have to <br />reduce its services and accessibility to residents. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, the City Council of the City of Roseville <br />hereby acknowledges its support for the Roseville Library and the efforts <br />of Ramsey County to maintain, if not improve, customer service <br />throughout its library system. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Member <br />Kough, and upon a vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br />Kough, Klausing, Schroeder, Maschka and Kysylyczyn, and the following voted against <br />the same: none. <br /> <br />WHEREUPON said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted. <br />
