<br />5.0 <br /> <br />PLANNING COMMISSION ACTION <br /> <br />5.1 <br /> <br />On July 11, 2001, the Roseville Planning Commission held the public hearing regarding <br />the Grotenhuis variance request. Not citizens were present to address the Commission. <br />Mr. Grotenhuis did explain his need for the change in apron width and asked the <br />Commission to support the request. <br /> <br />5.2 <br /> <br />The Roseville Planning Commission recommended (7-0) to approve the request by Mr. <br />Paul Grotenhuis for a 17 foot variance from Section 703.04Bl ofthe Roseville City Code <br />based on the findings in Section 3 of the project report dated July 11,2001. <br /> <br />6.0 <br /> <br />SUGGESTED CITY COUNCIL ACTION <br /> <br />Adopt a resolution to approve (approve w/modifications or deny) the request by Paul <br />Grotenhuis for a 17 foot variance to Section 703.04B1a of the Roseville City Code to allow <br />an increase in the required driveway apron within a public right-of-way from 26 feet to 43 <br />feet for property located at 3175 West Owasso Boulevard, based on the findings in Section <br />3 of the project report dated July 23, 2001. <br /> <br />Prepared by: Thomas Paschke (490-2236) <br /> <br />Attachments: Property location map; site photo; site plan; PC draft minutes. <br />60-day Time Limit: Not Applicable - City Initiated Request. <br /> <br />PF3323 RCA (072301) Page 3 of3 <br />
