<br />, . <br /> <br />REQUEST FOR PLANNING COMMISSION ACTION <br /> <br /> <br />proval: <br /> <br />DATE: 08/08/01 <br />ITEM NO: Sa <br /> <br />Agenda Section: <br />CONSENT <br /> <br />A request by Bauer Homes a Variance from Section 1004.02D5 of the <br />Roseville City Code for property located at 691 Heinel Drive (PF3327). <br /> <br />Manager Approved: <br /> <br />1.0 REQUESTED ACTION <br /> <br />1.1 Bauer Homes has requested a variance from Section 1004.02D5 (Setbacks) from the <br />Roseville City Code to allow the demolition and replacement of the existing single <br />family residence structure at 691 Heinel Drive. Bauer Homes proposes to locate the <br />new residential structure 10 feet from the rear yard (east) property line on this corner <br />lot, requiring a 20-foot variance. <br /> <br />2.0 BACKGROUND <br /> <br />2.1 On July 11, the Planning Commission continued the hearing on this request and directed <br />the applicant to create a house design for consideration with the variance request. <br /> <br />2.2 On July 23, 2001, staff received a telephone call from Steve Zawadski ofW. F. Bauer <br />Homes to discuss the requested information for the August 8 Planning Commission <br />meeting. Mr. Zawadski indicated that he would be on vacation and unable to provide the <br />necessary information to the Commission for their consideration. He asked to have the <br />request continued to the Commission meeting of September 1 ih. <br /> <br />3.0 STAFF RECOMMENDATION <br /> <br />Based on the conversation with Steve Zawadski, and the fact that staff did not receive the <br />necessary plan to complete the project report, staff recommends that the request by Bauer Homes <br />be continued to the September 12 Commission meeting. This continuation will require an <br />extension of the 60-day review period from August 10 to October 9, 2001. <br /> <br />4.0 SUGGESTED PLANNING COMMISSION ACTION <br /> <br />By motion, continue Planning File 3327, W. F.
