<br />REQUEST FOR CITY COUNCIL ACTION <br /> <br />Department Approval: Manager Approved: <br />~ 7lvt( &dz>> <br /> <br />It Description: A request by Bauer Homes a Variance from Section 1004.02D5 of the <br />Roseville City Code for property located at 691 Heinel Drive (PF3327). <br /> <br />DA TE: 09/24/01 <br />ITEM NO: C-6 <br />Agenda Section: <br />CONSENT <br /> <br />1.0 BACKGROUND <br /> <br />On July 11, 2001, the Planning Commission continued the Bauer Home request and required the <br />applicant provide a house design that could be reviewed against the variance criteria. <br /> <br />Since the July 11 meeting, staff has met with Bauer Homes to discuss the redevelopment options <br />for the parcel. The general conclusion was to wait until such time as a client was interested in <br />the property and had developed preliminary home and grading plans. <br /> <br />2.0 STAFF RECOMMENDATION <br /> <br />Staff recommended either denying or tabling the request of the applicant. <br /> <br />3.0 PLANNING COMMISSION ACTION <br /> <br />On September 12,2001, the Planning Commission recommended (6-0) to deny the Bauer Homes <br />request, without prejudice, because the application was premature and incomplete. <br /> <br />4.0 SUGGESTED COUNCIL ACTION <br /> <br />By motion, deny the request without prejudice because the application was premature and <br />incomplete. <br /> <br />Q:ComDev/Planning Files/PF3327/RCA (092401) <br /> <br />PF3327 RCA (092401) Page 1 <br />
