w ;.

August 8, 2001

ADDENDU"{ TO OUR ORIGINAL HEARING STAT~NT

In a letter dated June 12, 2001 to neighborhood residents from

Kathleen Agness inviting them to an informal neighbood meeting on

June 20th, it was stated - quote - "Since our business is housing,

I feel it is imperative that the home be maintained in extremely

good condition and to keep the residential look; and I do not intend

to change the physical appearance of the property. II End quote.

Now please direct your attention to paragraph 2.3 in the August 8th
Request for Planning Commission Action report. The second sentence
of this paragraph reads as follows: "One of the owners also called
(City Hall) asking for details of how to obtain a permit to pave
the front yard for parking." End quote.

Our contention is that the petitioners are saying one thing, but

doing another and are not acting in good faith relative to this procedure.

This lends further credence to our concerns about the use. of this property

and reinforces our resolve to deny any recommendation to resqne said property

to B-1 classification.

Jeanette yu VlIll4'tt1(!>-

/
Roger Durmette/

jf-ttacIt~ ~ 15
