<br />REQUEST FOR CITY COUNCIL ACTION <br /> <br />Date: 08/27/01 <br />Item No: C-l <br /> <br /> <br />Man er A proved: <br />.&l:tD <br /> <br />City initiated request for a 60-day plan review extension regarding the <br />request by Robert Reichenbach (Variance from Section 1004.01A6 and <br />10004.01E) for property located at 1858 Hamline Avenue (PF3334). <br /> <br /> <br />Agenda Section: <br />CONSENT <br /> <br />1.0 REQUESTED ACTION <br /> <br />1.1 The Community Development Department is seeking an extension to the 60-day plan <br />review time line in order to receive a property survey to determine the magnitude of the <br />requested variances. <br /> <br />2.0 BACKGROUND <br /> <br />2.1 On August 8, 2001, the Roseville Planning Commission recommended to approve the <br />Reichenbach variance requests subject to the provision of a survey to be reviewed by the <br />Community Development Department for the determination of exact variance figures <br />(distance and square footage). <br /> <br />2.2 As of the printing of this report, the Community Development Department did not <br />receive the necessarylrequired survey in order to complete the project report for City <br />Council consideration. <br /> <br />2.2 Further, with the 60-day plan review deadline to expire on September 15,2001, the <br />Community Development Department has determined that the Planning Commission's <br />action of August 8, 2001, warrants the review extension. <br /> <br />3.0 STAFF RECOMMENDATION <br /> <br />3.1 In order to properly provide the City Council with proper information necessary to fully <br />consider the Reichenbach request, the Community Development Department is <br />requesting a 60-day plan review extension pursuant to Minnesota Statutes 15.99. <br /> <br />4.0 SUGGESTED COUNCIL ACTION <br /> <br />4.1 Adopt a resolution to approve a 60-day extension to the plan review deadline for the <br />request by Robert Reichenbach (PF3334) from September 15 to November 14,2001. <br /> <br />Prepared by: Thomas Paschke <br />Attachments: Resolution. 60-Day Schedule: Application accepted on July 17, 2001; 60-day <br />review deadline on September 15,2001 <br /> <br />PF3334 RCA (082701) - Page 1 of 1 <br />
