We offer the followmg cormnents for your consideration,

Item 13 indicates that no water appropriation is anticipated with the project. If construction does
indeed require t~porary dewatering in exc.ess of 10,000 gallons per da.y, or 1,000,000 gallons
per year. then a DNR water appropriation permit is necessary.

hem 18 disc.usses issues ofproject-related storm water runoff management. We have tvvo
com.mei.j,~s tv Gffer:

1. Item 18a indicates that the project will u.tilize infiltration areas. This is a positive project
feature and DNR tommends the proposer for this projett feature. Increasingly, D~~ is
recommending consideration of infiltration-based techniques to ensure that both runoff
quanrity and quality are addressed in a project's envirornnental design, We also
commend the proposer for reducing the footprint offue buildings at the site, which will in
turn reduce the amount of storm water runoff generated at the site from the current
condition.

2. Item 18b i11.mcates that runoff will be directed to a regional storm water pond that in tu....'1l
discharges 10 nDNR Wetland 50-W.n This waterbody is Wilson Lake, which is listed on
thrt public waters wetland inventory as #62-00S0W, The regional storm water pond is
part of Wilson Lake.
