Waldron (1IJ)t{lljl
V I
SUBJECT: Rainbow Foods/Legal In"erpretation

I have had the oppo~tunity to djsCUS5 the modified ~ainbow Foods
proposal with Mr. Bell. The crux c.f the issue centel:"ed a.round
the fact that Rainbow Foods was ~ot going to add any new
buildings, additions, etc. and has thus, decided to simply pai~t
and "spruce up" the building. The parking lot will be
substantially modified to address the steep grade that currently
exists. The question that ~as asked of Mr. Bell was whether the
building ~tili needs to conform based on ~he modification of the
parki~g ~ot or is it only the pa~king lot that needs to conform.

TO:

FROM:

In reviewing the matter, Mr. Bell stdte.d that the site' plan
review does not "kick ~,.,,, simply for the parking lot
modification. Rainbow F'00CS will be required ,-0 bring only the
parking lot into current r.c:'\plianc€ and thus, will not have to
appear before the. Planning Commission or City Council wit_h a
modified proposal.

cc: Rick
st:,-:ve G.
Karl K.

. J, _-...\
