<br />lUJw.~f~J <br />C'~f' (7r..z...... ~c9. <br />rw <br /> <br /> <br />REQUEST FOR COUNCIL ACTION DATE: 02/10/97 <br />ITEM NO: C-l <br />Agenda Section: <br />cSt Consent <br />Continuation of Vacation of Right-ot-Way Hearing <br />for lona Lane <br /> <br /> <br />Background <br /> <br />As part of the Twin Lakes Comprehensive Plan road realignment study, a <br />hearing was scheduled for vacation of the road right-of-ways along lona <br />Lane for February 24, 1997. <br /> <br />Since the comprehensive plan amendment for the possible relocation ot <br />Twin Lakes Parkway cannot be decided until after an EAW has been <br />completed for the entire Twin Lakes area, the hearing to vacate road right- <br />of-way should be continued to a time after the decisions on the EAWand <br />th~ Comprehensive Plan are completed, now scheduled for June 9, 1997. <br /> <br />Staff Recommendation: <br /> <br />Staff recommends continuation of the lona Lane vacation to June 23, 1997. <br /> <br />Suggested Council Action: <br /> <br />Offer a motion to continue the lona Lane right-of-way vacation hearing to <br />June 23, 1997. <br /> <br />Report by: Dennis Welsch, 490-2232 <br />C:\WPWIN60\WPDOCS\1WINLAKE\IONALANE.
