Johnson, Maschka, Cushman, Goedeke, and V. <br />Johnson, and the following were absent: None. <br /> <br />Member P. Johnson introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO, 8941 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION RECOMMENDING V ACA nON OF A PORTION OF <br />'mE WEST SNELLING AVENUE FRONTAGE ROAD <br /> <br />WHEREAS, after two w.eeks published and posted notice, the City Council held a public hearing <br />to determine whether or not said street in the City of Roseville should be vacated; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, it appears that by reason the frontage road is not needed it would be beneficial to <br />the public interest to recommend vacating the street; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council of the City of Roseville hereby <br />recommends vacating the public street over the property described as follows: <br /> <br />That part of State Trunk Highway No, 51 (Snelling Avenue) described as follows: <br /> <br />That part of the Southeast Quarter of the Northeast Quarter of Section 4, Township 29 <br />North, Range 23 West, Ramsey County, Minnesota; which lies South of the North 33 feet <br />thereof and North of the South 183 feet thereof, and Easterly of a line run parallel with <br />and distant 114 feet Westerly of Line 1 described below and Westerly of Line 2 described <br />below: <br /> <br />Line 1. Beginning at a point on the South line of Section 3, Township 29 North, Range <br />23 West, distant 14 feet East of the Southwest corner thereof; thence run Northerly to a <br />point on the East and West quarter line of said Section 3, distant 14 feet East of the West <br />Quarter corner thereof; thence deflect to the right at an angle of 00 degrees 13 minutes <br />00 sec~nds for 1013.7 feet; thence deflect to the right on a 3 degree 00 minute 00 second <br />curve, delta angle 48 degrees 59 minutes 00 seconds for 400 feet and there terminating~ <br /> <br />Line 2, From the East Quarter corner of said Section 4, run Westerly along the East and <br />West Quarter line thereof on an azimuth of 268 degrees 48 minutes 07 seconds (azimuth <br />oriented to Minnesota State Plane Coordinate System) for 75 feet to the point of <br />
