Roll Call <br /> Mayor Roe called the meeting to order at approximately 6:00 p.m. Voting and Seating <br /> Order: Willmus, Laliberte, Etten, McGehee, and Roe. City Manager Patrick Trudgeon <br /> and City Attorney Mark Gaughan were also present. <br /> 2. Approve Agenda <br /> City Manager Trudgeon advised that Consent Item 7.d. entitled, "Joint Powers Agree- <br /> ment with St. Paul Port Authority"was being removed by staff pending additional review <br /> and refinement. <br /> Mr. Trudgeon further noted a revised resolution, provided as a bench handout, for Con- <br /> sent Item 7.e. entitled, "Approve Resolution Approving the Vacation of a Portion of a <br /> Drainage and Utility Easement Located at 197 County Road B-2." <br /> Councilmember McGehee requested removal of Consent Item 7.e. for discussion purpos- <br /> es. Councilmember McGehee further requested removal of Consent Item 7.i. entitled, <br /> "Approve Resolution Approving the Vacation of Drainage and Utility Easements Located <br /> along Lots 18—21, Block 1, O'Neil's Addition." <br /> McGehee moved, Etten seconded approval of the agenda as amended. <br /> Roll Call <br /> Ayes: Willmus, Laliberte, Etten, McGehee, and Roe. <br /> Nays: None. <br /> 3. Public Comment <br /> Mayor Roe called for public comment by members of the audience on any non-agenda <br /> items. No one appeared to speak. <br /> 4. Council Communications, Reports, and Announcements <br /> Mayor Roe announced an Open House on October 9, 2014 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., cele- <br /> brating the one-year anniversary of the opening of the Fire Station at Lexington and <br /> Woodhill Avenues; and in observance of Fire Prevention Week. Mayor Roe invited resi- <br /> dents to attend this free family event, with parking available at City Hall, and additional <br /> information available at 651/792-7309. <br /> Mayor Roe announced an opportunity through October at the Mall of America for dona- <br /> tions to the "Make The Change Fund Operation" to support the "Operation Military <br /> Kids" program, with collection boxes available at various locations at the Mall, and pro- <br /> ceeds going to the children's program in MN. Mayor Roe noted additional information <br /> was available from Amber Greeley, the 4-H Military Liaison, at 612/624-8198. <br />
