In addition, it is very likely that the proposed project could add as much as $300,000.00 property value to the tax rolls of the village. It should be noted that this transaction will make no profit for Calvary Baptist Church when considering the total property exchange. In order to consolidate our propert~es, the congregation purchased three homes adjacent to the church plant at a premium price. 3. Community Relations. It has been the concern of our church to communicate with our neighbors from the beginning of this building pro- gram and its attendant procedures. Effort to do so has been made by means of an open meeting and personal conversations. We promised our neighbors that we would make every effort to act in their best interests, and we believe we have done so. It is our understanding that John Hultmann, Principal of Lexington School, no longer objects to the proposal and that he has conveyed this to the Village Council. In conclusion, Calvary Baptist Church wishes to declare that its building program, of which this property transaction is a part, is to provide facilities for the children and youth of our community. One- hundred thirteen (113) Roseville families participate regularly in our program, fully half of our total constituent families. We believe that this program is an investment in the life and welfare of our village. Your favorable consideration of this request for rezoning will be appreciated.
