This correspondence and its encloBures are intended to clarify and summarize the position of Calvary Baptist Church in this discussion. 1. Tl'affic Control. Enclosed you will find a letter from Richard L. Ozment of Country Kitchen which indicates that the restaurants' peak hours are from 12 noon to 2:00 p.m. and from 5:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m., and a letter from Roger W. Groth of Mary's Dairy Stores which states that the stores' peak hours are from 6:00 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. The peak hours for activity at Calvary Baptist Church are Sundays from 8:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.~. and Wednesdays from 6:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. The proposal provides that Calvary Baptist Church will provide adequate off-street parking on its lots adjacent to the church building. The main entrance to the church will be from the parking area, and entry and exit will be provided at Parker Avenue. It is our belief that this will significantly assist in eliminating the congestion of cars and pedestrians on Burke Avenue caused by the church's currently divided park- ing lot. 2." Property Values. A letter from First Federal Savings and Loan Association is enclosed which states that it is not the policy of that Association to deny loans on residential property located adjacent to commercial property.
