In August of 1986, the City Council approved a special use <br />permit for a planned unit development for the Northwestern <br />College at 3003 North Snelling Avenue with conditions, <br />including the condition that the time limitation on the phase <br />II special use permit shall be 5 years. . <br /> <br />2. Northwestern College has requested an, extension of an <br />additional five years to complete the phase II improvements. <br /> <br />Alternatives: <br /> <br />1. <br /> <br />To deny the extension and allow the original approval to <br />lapse. This would require Northwestern College to come in <br />for a new PUD when it is ready to construct the Phase II <br />improvements. <br /> <br />'" <br /> <br />2. Grant the extension ~s requested. <br /> <br />Staff Recommendation: <br /> <br />1. It is recommended that the City Council grant Northwestern <br />College an extension of up to five years to complete the <br />Phase II improvements as outlined in the approved PUD plan. <br />This action would require the Phase II improvements to be <br />completed no later than ~ugust 11, 1996. <br /> <br />Council Action Reauested: <br /> <br />1. Motion to approve Northwestern College's request for an <br />extension of the time to complete Phase II improvements as <br />outlined in'the approved PUD plan until August 11, 1996. <br /> <br />/- <br />
