Only walkways
well within the campus will be lit, thus minimizing glaring light
distractions to surrounding residences. Specifically, the walkway
passing east of the proposed residence hal I and tennis court along the
property line will not be lit to discourage nighttime use of this
walk, resulting In less visual and noise distraction to adjacent
resl dents. Exh I bl t D shaw s the proposed I I ghtl ng layout.

Pedestrian lighting will consist of a lurnlnalre reflecting light In a
downward pattern mounted on a to-foot pole. This Is consistent with
the style presently In use at the col lege. See Exhibit E for lighting
sty Ie.

Due to poor durability and high maintenance costs the college has
experienced wlth'exlstlng bol lard lighting, new bollard lighting Is
not be I ng proposed.

-t1-

862t
