The fields are proposed to drain In <br />generally the same dIrection as they do currently. The west portion of the <br />site will drain west to Rice Creek as It currently does. It now dral ns to the low pondl ng area at the southeast <br />corner of the campus. ThIs area outlets to the existing pond <br />near the resIdence halls only durIng moderate to high' raInfall <br />periods. Pondlng capacIty Is provIded In the existing pond. <br /> <br />The other roadway Improvements at the secondary entrance to the <br />west wll I drain In the same direction and at the same rates that <br />It currently does. AddItIonal pondlng wIll be provided on the <br />roadways themselves due to curb and gutter Improvements. <br />ErosIon control wIll be provIded In areas adjacent to Rice <br />Creek. <br /> <br />6 . I.eDDl~_~.ur.:t~ <br /> <br />The south hal f of the courts I s proposed to dral n south to a <br />small pondlng area adjacent to the courts, sized for a 100-year <br />storm; the north half of the courts are proposed to draIn north <br />to Arden HI II s, as they do now. <br /> <br />The storage capacIty of the exl stl ng pond exceeds requl rements for <br />storage of a 1 DO-year 24-hour storm. Exl stl ng dral nage patterns have <br />been preserved whenever possl bl e. New pondl ng has been created to <br />prov I de the req ul red addl tl onal storage needed to account for the new <br />facilIty Improvements. Floatable trash removal and oIl recovery <br />structures are existing at the, current pond and wIll be provIded at <br />the proposed pond. <br /> <br />A sedIment-erosIon control plan will be provIded wIth the Stormwater <br />Management Plan. All sedIment wIll be kept on-sIte during <br />construct Ion and w I II ramal n untl I temporary or permanent vegetatl ve <br />cover Is estab, I shed.
