<br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />'I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br /> <br />SITE RESPONSE <br /> <br />The general location of the Life and Health/Fitness Center was <br />established based on the location of existing and proposed athletic <br />f'elds, the existing and proposed campus road system and existing and <br />proposed routes of pedestrian movement. <br /> <br />Offices and the Level B Entry are oriented to the north for best <br />use of the view allowing the gymnasium and lockers closer proximity <br />to playing fields. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />A transition from the wild lake side to the controlled campus <br />Interior grounds Is achieved by providing a physical and visual <br />passage below and around the administrative office wing. The <br />passage opens upon a recreational and study green which borders the <br />forest surrounding Little Lake Johanna. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />It was determined early In the planning process that only a minimal <br />number of parking spaces (30) could be provided Immediately <br />adjacent to the Life and Health Fitness Center.
