<br />EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING OF THE <br />CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE <br /> <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of <br />Roseville, County of Ramsey, Minnesota, was held on the 29th day of July 2002, at 6:30 p.m. <br /> <br />The following members were present: Maschka, Schroeder, Kough, Kysylyczyn <br />and the following were absent: Klausing <br /> <br />Council Member Kough introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 10016 <br />A RESOLUTION APPROVING A VARIANCE TO SECTION 1005.01A1 (STRUCTURE <br />SETBACKS - FRONT YARD) OF THE ROSEVILLE CITY CODE <br />FOR PROPERTY LOCATED AT 2100 DALE STREET (PF 3410). <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the B-Dale Club has requested a variance to Section lO05.01AI (Front Yard <br />Setbacks) in order to replace a pre-existing non-conforming damage sign; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the B-Dale Club is located at 2100 Dale Street and legally described at as: <br /> <br />NEEDS CORRECT LEGAL DESCRIPTION (PID #132923220019). <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Section lO05.01AI requires a front yard setback of30 feet fro all structures <br />in a Business District; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, a pylon sigh is considered a structure and therefore is required to meet the <br />30 foot setback from property line; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, said former sign was destroyed by a vehicle in April 2002 and was located <br />within the Dale Street right-of-was (approximately nine feet from the curb edge); and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the B-Dale Club seek to replaced the sign in a location as close to the <br />property line as reasonably feasible; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Roseville Planning Commission held a public hearing regarding the <br />variance request by the B-Dale Club and recommended (6-0) to approve the request, based on <br />findings outlined in Section 5 and conditions of Section 6 of the project report dated July 10, <br />2002. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, by the Roseville City Council, to grant the B- <br />Dale Club a 29 foot front yard variance to Section lO05.01AI of the Roseville City Code, based <br />on the findings in Section 5 of the project report dated July 29, 2002, and subject to the <br />following conditions: <br /> <br />a. The verification of the property line adjacent to Dale Street. <br /> <br />1 <br />
