The <br />subject pr:Jpe,ty is guided 8 Busi 1leSS and is zor.ed B-3 General 8usiness <br />District, which is R:Jseville's most intensive commercial district. <br /> <br />The applicant h~s submitted an ap;:;lication Good a site plan and is <br />making an ~fflJ_ t to comply with the City's purpose in adopting the <br />outdoor display ordinanct:. We have visited the site and find that the <br />outdoor display is iimited LO a pop machine, an ice chest, <::nother food <br />dispenser, aO!d a single J-foot wide by 3-1!2-foot high display case <br />immediately in front of t~ building. <br /> <br />A site plan has beer. submittE'd with the application that contains <br />severRI useful dimensions, but still lacks some others. Rick Jopke is <br />going t:) conta~t the owner and either qet i3 more complete site plan or <br />keep the application off the a~noa for the July Uth m~eti~. <br /> <br />When I visited the site, tl1ere was a :lingle small :-ack displaying motor <br />oil in front <:.f the building. .he rest of the display consisted of <br />rnachjf)c~ and they appe<"red CJttractive and well maintained. Altho'Jgh it <br />is difficult to establish an objective basis for C'omparisor:, it is cisar <br />that merchandise dispensed frum a machine rr,~kes a better appearance <br />then merchandise staci<ed on pailets. <br /> <br />2.
