Ch. ~115B.17, subd. 14 for Twin <br />Lakes Redevelopment Area, VP 13320, City of <br />Roseville, Minnesota <br /> <br />AREA 'VIDE GROUND WATER <br />INVESTIGATION AGREEMENT, <br />City of Roseville <br /> <br />I. JURISDICTION <br /> <br />This Agreement is entered into pursuant to authority vested in the Minnesota Pollution <br /> <br />Control Agency (MPCA) and the Commissioner of the MPCA (Commissioner) by the Minnesota <br /> <br />Environmental Response and Liability Act (MERLA), Minn. Stat. ~~ 115B.01 to 115B.24 <br /> <br />(2000), and more particularly the Land Recycling Act of 1992 as amended ("LRA"), Minn. Stat. <br /> <br />~~ 115B.175 to 115B.178. <br /> <br />Minn. Stat. 9 1158.17, Subd. 14 (2000) authorizes the Commissioner to provide <br /> <br />assistance, upon request, to a person in determining whether real property has been the site of a <br /> <br />release or threatened release of a hazardous substance, pollutant, or contaminant. The City of <br /> <br />Roseville has requested assistance from the Commissioner for this purpose. This Agreement <br /> <br />defines the duties and responsibilities of the City ofRoseville and the Minnesota Pollution <br /> <br />Control Agency. <br /> <br />H. PARTIES <br /> <br />This Agreement shall apply to and be binding upon the following parties: <br /> <br />A. The City ofRoseville (City); and <br /> <br />B.
